Alex here, some call me Lau. I am a music composer, producer, and mixer based out of NYC. I am the owner of 8th Wonder Music Publishing and have written original music for Nissan, BYD, ESPN, NFL, ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox Sports, News 12 Long Island, Nascar, HULU, Paramount, Amazon Prime, and more.
Aside from writing for multiple music libraries, sync agencies, and international brands, I am also the principal songwriter and lead guitarist in the NYC-based band ‘Night Without Cars’ formerly known as ‘SCR’. Our band has toured the country opening for acts such as Collective Soul, Gavin Degraw, Andy Grammer, Switchfoot, and Blues Traveler. NWC has accrued millions of streams across streaming platforms.
